According to the data released by the European Commission, the cumulative sugar export volume between the EU and the UK in the 2020/20 pressing season was about 355,000 tons by February 25, down 60.3% year-on-year. The accumulative import volume of sugar was about 822,000 tons, down about 30% year on year. Net imports of sugar were about 467,000 tonnes.
